You can more or less play here. Ideally you want a lung protective stratergy (which comes out of the ARDSnet Studies from ages ago). So you just need to pick a mode you want to play with. Lets go through a few options and work out what to do for each.

To the ventilation snob, this mode is an affront to all that you can think about when it comes to low evidence small study size research. To the occasional ventilator, it's worth its weight.
